Good Time Travelers: Michael Kirkpatrick and Pete Kartsounes

The Good Time Travelers are a Mandolin and Guitar duo so big they have been described as a “2-piece power-trio.” Pete and Michael write all of their material in a Rocky Mountain cabin. Their style is rooted in Bluegrass and Folk music, but the sentiment is pure rock and roll. From Telluride to Talkeetna, The Good Time Travelers have been performing western festivals and venues since their first gig, an opener for Del and Dawg in 2014. Their debut album The Good Time Travelers, is made of 13 songs perfected on stage at Northwest String Summit, SalmonFest, Big Sky Big Grass, WinterWonderGrass and other popular western string-parties.
